Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed Chinese language educators from across the country for the Thai Local Chinese Language Teachers Teaching Seminar, a full-day program hosted by the Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU). Designed under the theme “中文新视野，教学新思路 – New Perspectives for Chinese, New Pathways for Teaching” the seminar brought together specialist lecturers and local teachers to explore evolving approaches to Chinese language education in Thailand.
A Strong Opening from AU Leadership
The day began with a warm welcome from Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU, who presided over the opening ceremony and group photo session. His remarks underscored AU’s commitment to supporting quality language education and fostering deeper cultural understanding between Thailand and China.
